This necklace consists of a polished teardrop amethyst bead with two small metal beads on either side. This is wire wrapped into the cable chain for durability. The faceted purple zircon beads are wire wrapped into the extension and closure for added durability as well. The amethyst is beautifully clear, ranging from light to dark.
Amethyst is the birthstone for the month of February. It is believed to create balance and promote healing of body, mind and soul. Zircon is believed to relieve pain.
Amethyst has always reminded me of Mother's Day and the smell of lavender and lilacs. This would make a great Mother's Day or birthday present.
